variety of roles. We really need your help - please join us!
We have a new, online Volunteer Registration
system for 2013.
To make it easier for volunteers to
find jobs that match their skills, experience, physical abilities, and
schedule, The Ride has created a new "Job Center" system that lets you
create a volunteer profile and choose and schedule yourself for jobs.

Greatest Need For Volunteer Help
- Route Guides: Route Guides play an essential safety and
direction role along the routes. You can double- or triple-team a corner
or intersection with your family or friends and shout encouragement to
- Riding Marshals: If you’re a seasoned
cyclist and know the rules of the road and how to fix a flat, you can
volunteer as a Riding Marshal. You’ll help maintain safety on the routes
and assist riders by carrying minor first-aid supplies and basic bike
- Start Line/Finish Line: Direct and
help riders as they assemble at the start line. Cheer them on as they
start their ride. Congratulate them as they cross the finish line and
